Ultrasound examination for pneumothorax

Pneumothorax is (rarely) a complication of nerve blocks, and the Editorial Board felt that knowledge of the ultrasound diagnosis of it is essential. For that reason it is included here at the beginning of this section.

Blocks of the Head an Neck

These block videos are mostly “borrowed” from other authors. The Editorial Board approved these videos as scientifically sound and thank the authors for their contributions.

Truncal Blocks

Truncal Blocks are becoming popular, although the Editorial Board wants to warm about their over-application. These are purely SOMATIC blocks and do not block visceral pain that is transmitted to the brain via the sympathetic nerves.

Upper Extremity

Lower Extremity

This section makes use of freely available and approved tutorials of Other Blocks to the Lower Extremity.
